67.5 km isn't really as far as I thought it would be.
That's how far I biked today. First to the distillery district, all the way out to the end of leslie spit, to ashbridges bay park, back to the trail that runs near the DVP all the way up to the science centre, over to high park, down to the lakefront then back home. 67.5 km.
I'm tired.

WOHOOOOOO!!!!
Another biking lover :D
take me with you next time you go that far. I love going for a long ride :D how long did it take you btw?
Why did you bike instead of working on your homepage/blog?!! This is unacceptable mister.
WHAT?!! Neal has a blog??????
Oooooooh, you are so dead Neal.
That is pretty damn hardcore. I went on a biking trip through Thailand a few years back, from Bangkok to the Laos border in less than a week, a total of like 400 km... Not very pleasant at all in the summer heat and everything...I almost got dehydrated and died and I'm not exaggerating, LOL
thats pretty amazing!!!
The whole trip was about six hours, with about 4.5 of that being actual cycling. I was with my dad and we weren't really familiar with the bike routes in toronto. We were basically trusting the four (yes, four) bike maps of toronto we had with us to guide us around. And so a lot of problems were caused by the fact that while a trail was marked on the map, it's a bit isolated so there's only a certain number of places you can get onto those trails, and those access points aren't marked on the map. You'd think with four maps, one of them might have had them marked, but no... so for the path that runs close to the DVP, we spent about 15 mintues riding parallel to it before we actually found a way on. That DVP one is really isolated b/c we ended up taking it from Gerrard to Eglinton and there were only about 4 reasonable access points to the trail in that whole distance. Despite this, that trail was reasonably busy, since it was a very pleasant Saturday.
I don't have a blog. Dorky ME!!! was curious about how you accomplished your cyber-sneakiness ZMP. So I decided to make a little challenge for her to figure out. I made a dummy blog and copied the password script from you know who and now I want to see if she can figure it out. :p
Aww, with your dad, eh? That's pretty cool. So is he still in town? I wish my dad and myself actually owned bikes so that we could go bike riding on poorly marked Toronto bike trails together too :(.
Are you sure it's ONLY a dummy blog? Hmm...so did ME!!! figure it out or not?
